The Media Coalition Foundation is a non-profit organization established to provide a means for individuals and others to support and further the goals of The Media Coalition, Inc. Since 1973, Media Coalition has worked vigorously to protect the First Amendment and the public’s right to access the broadest possible range of information, opinion and entertainment. The Foundation monitors potential threats to freedom of speech and engages in litigation and education to protect free speech rights.

Legal work

The Media Coalition Foundation defends free speech through legal work, carrying forward Media Coalition’s singular record of successes in challenging laws that violate the First Amendment and supporting free speech cases through amicus briefs.

     Public education

The Media Coalition Foundation strives to educate policymakers, journalists and the public about ever-evolving First Amendment and censorship issues. It aims to fulfill the vision of an informed American public engaged in free speech causes.
